Spokesperson to President Muhammadu Buhari, Garba Shehu, has reacted to reports that he may have been infected with Coronavirus.
This is following reports that Chief of Staff to Buhari, Abba Kyari, allegedly tested positive to the deadly virus.
SaharaReporters had reported that Kyari met with Garba Shehu and Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state recently after his trip from Germany.
The Legend had that Shehu was among the Members of the President’s delegation sent to commiserate with Bello on his Mother’s death
Others present were; Minister of Special Duties, Senator George Akume, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of State, FCT Dr. Ramatu Tijjani, the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubair Dada
But, Shehu, reacting on his verified Twitter page, urged Nigerians to ignore reports from the news outlet.
He, however, failed to confirm or deny if he has tested positive or not for COVID-19.
His post read: “If it is Sahara Reporters, ignore them. It’s their wishful thinking.
“Allah is the giver of health. I am pleased with my current health endowment.”
