Antoine Griezmann looks more ready than ever to leave Atletico Madrid for Barcelona, not minding even a $6 Million pay cut, after becoming worried with the club’s lack of ambition.
Griezmann surprised many last summer by turning down a move to the Nou Camp in favour of committing his immediate future to Atletico by penning a new deal at the Wanda Metropolitano until 2023.
However, the Frenchman according to Mundo Deportivo now has private regrets over his decision following Atletico’s meek last-16 exit at the hands of Juventus in the Champions League.
