After an eight-day siege on his Abuja residence, which has generated so much uproar across the country, Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West Senatorial district, finally surrenders to the Nigerian Police.
Recall that an Abuja high court had on Thursday, refused an ex-parte application brought by Melaye to order the removal of police blockage on his residence.
Embattled melaye and his colleagues, who came to his residence to show solitary, headed to the police headquarters, according to a reliable source.
