The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has just disclosed that total number of Nigeria’s telephone subscribers has reached 208 million.
The disclosure was made by NCC’s Executive Vice Chairman, Prof Umar Danbatta, who added that the nation’s broadband penetration also peaked at 45. 07 percent as at November 2020.
He dropped the hint in Abuja while briefing the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, Mr Festus Daudu, on new developments in the telecommunications industry.
