President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on an official visit.
Accompanied by some prominent government officials, the president landed the Nigerian Air Force Base in Maiduguri, about 10:05 am, amid high security presence.
He was received by the Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, National/State Assembly members and is currently exchanging pleasantries with top government functionaries.
While on the official visit, he would commission some projects as well as appraise the security situation at the Theatre Command of Operation Hadin Kai, Mamalari Cantonment before returning to Abuja
