Nnamdi Kanu Reacts To Gunmen’s Attacks In Imo

By Precious Orji

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the coordinated attacks on Owerri Correctional Center and Police Headquarters by unknown gunmen.
In a tweet on his official Twitter page on Thursday, the IPOB leader said the government must realize that  the citizens are her  employers who can decide to sack her when it fails to deliver.
Kanu who had earlier absolved IPOB of culpability of the attacks, said that the government’s relentless killing of its citizens, was beginning to draw reprisal attacks.
His tweet: “No government can defeat her citizens. The citizens are their employers. You can never be stronger than your employer. He/She has the right to sack you.
“#Nigeria Govt with British Neo-Colonialists have killed us enough. Time for citizens to pay them back in their coin. #UGM”.
Recall that the former Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Muhammed Adamu, on Tuesday, had ordered police officers to go after members of IPOB over the attacks.
Gunmen had attacked the facilities on Monday, setting over 1,800 inmates free and burning down the police headquarters in the state.
