NSCDC Arrests Man Attempting To Sell Own Daughters For N700,000

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC ) says it has arrested a man in Akwa Ibom, while was allegedly negotiating to sell-off his two daughters.

The NSCDC spokesman in Akwa Ibom State, Ukeme Umana, in a statement yesterday, said Elisha Effiong, 40, was apprehended as he tried to sell his two daughters for N700,000.

Umana said the suspect was arrested after being tipped off by a private guard at Full Care Hospital on Ekpanya Street, Uyo, the state capital.
