Police Says Viral Video Showing Imo House Of Assembly Burning Is Fake News

The Imo state police command has debunked a report trending on social media, which claimed that Imo State House of Assembly is on Fire.

A video shared on social media Sunday evening which went viral had suggested that the House of Assembly complex was going up in flames.

But further investigation revealed that the said video in circulation happened in Ghana and not Nigeria.

When pressmen sought to confirm the authenticity of the viral video, Imo state police public Relations officer, Ikeokwu  said the report is “fake news please.”
