About Tony Elumelu Foundation: Celebrating a decade of impactful initiatives in 2020, the Tony Elumelu Foundation is committed to empowering a new generation of African entrepreneurs through its TEF Entrepreneurship Programme. Program Highlights of Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) Successful applicants stand to gain world-class business training, mentorship, and non-refundable seed capital of up to $5,000. The programme welcomes entrepreneurs from across Africa, spanning both new startups and existing young businesses in any sector.

Eligibility Criteria for Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) 2024 This section will answer this question ” What are the eligibility criteria for TEEP?” The Entrepreneurship Programme targets outstanding African entrepreneurs with startups or business ideas poised for growth. The initiative is open to entrepreneurs in various African countries.

Programme Phases for African Entrepreneurship Grants.

1. Application Phase (January 1 – March 31):

Preparatory: For those lacking the necessary skill set, offering general training on TEFConnect without eligibility for mentorship or seed capital.

Start-Up/Beginner: Tailored for startup entrepreneurs with access to beginner training modules and world-class mentors during the programme. Innovator/Intermediate: Geared towards intermediate entrepreneurs with good potential, providing access to intermediate training modules and mentors.

2. Training & Mentorship Phase:

Shortlisted entrepreneurs undergo rigorous business training and mentoring sessions. Virtual orientation programs, timelines, and resources are shared for success. Access to peer-to-peer support groups.

3. Business Plan Submission Phase:

Participants combine learnings into a cohesive business plan.

Successful candidates move on to the next stage: the Pitching Competition. 4. Pitching Phase: Entrepreneurs pitch ideas before a panel of judges to demonstrate feasibility. Successful candidates gain access to seed capital funding and the Alumni network. 5. Seed Capital Phase: Entrepreneurs who completed all steps open business accounts to receive seed capital. Eligible entrepreneurs receive a Certificate of Completion and Achievement.
