Nigerian entrepreneur May Edochie has taken legal action to divorce her husband, actor Yul Edochie, with whom she shares three children. Represented by Femi Falana and Eculaw group, May is also seeking N100 million in damages from Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin, for alleged adultery. The DPA Family Law Clinic provided an update on the couple’s marriage issues, confirming that Yul and Judy have been informed of the lawsuit and received the suit papers via email.
It was also claimed that Yul and Judy have been avoiding the court’s attempts to serve them, despite their showmanship on social media. They are now facing serious legal challenges, as they seem unprepared for the situation. May has also sought a court order to prevent Yul from entering their former matrimonial home, expressing concerns about her safety due to his erratic, irrational, aggressive, and increasingly threatening behavior.
She additionally highlighted that Yul’s behavior suggests that he might be influenced by something unknown, the complete nature of which is not yet clear.
