Breaking: Seven Youths Die In Lekki-Epe Expressway Accident

No fewer than seven youths died in a fatal accident which occurred on Saturday morning along Lekki-Epe Expressway, according to the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).

The accident, an FRSC statement say, happened around 1am at Shapati (Fragend).

The deceased comprising two men and five women, all occupants of a Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) with registration number AGL953GQ, were suspected to have been drunk.

The driver of the SUV was said to have rammed into a moving truck with registration number ICT-15E025, killing all occupants on the spot.

According to a statement by FRSC’s Public Education Officer (PEO) in Lagos, Route Commander Olabisi Sonusi, the bodies of the deceased were evacuated to a morgue.
